“Although I’m hamming it up for the camera with that pose, this is my actual everyday winter work attire, and that is one of my favorite old books from my personal library. Fashion: Claiborne blazer in black corduroy over a Kenneth Cole zipper cardigan and oxford shirt with Dewey Decimal cufflinks and Jerry Garcia tie. Book: History of the Sea, a collection of old sea tales and maritime engravings.” View high resolution

My fiance (who has worked as a library assistant while in school) and I took our engagement photos at the Boston Public Library. While we took our outfits up a notch for these pictures, it’s not much of a stretch from our average work-wear. (I have worn this dress to work many times and get lots of compliments.)
