A tie makes me look awkwardly overdressed for much of my normal workday, so when I have to wear one for a late-day event, I like to soften up the more formal collared shirt and tie with something like this super lightweight cotton cardigan.

I am standing in front of one of our two massive rotating power files. Contained within the files are individual newspaper stories/series/briefs, clipped from newspapers, indexed on cards (contained in a separate set of file cabinets), placed in envelopes and labeled. Alphabetized, people and subjects.
Files span 1947-1990. Each power files contains well over 100,000 envelopes…roughly.
Today is Friday – Button down shirt and jeans are acceptable.
