Librarian Wardrobe

Not always buns and sensible shoes, librarians at various types of libraries have different styles (and dress codes). Check it out here or submit your own.

Librarian Wardrobe #ACRL13 Coverage with @edorney!

Going to (or already at) #ACRL13? Don’t worry, your stylin’ styles won’t go undocumented. We’ve asked Erin Dorney, fabulous Outreach Librarian at Millersville University in PA, to cover the event. We’re giving her free reign to show us what’s going on at the conference, so we are excited to see what she submits!

One thing Erin will be examining and asking people is: Why did you decide to wear what you did? If you see her, let her know and you could be featured here on LW! Or you could, ya know, submit your own, too :)

Here is Erin below!

Conservation technician at an academic library in Pittsburgh, PA.We can get pretty dirty so are encouraged to wear clothes to reflect such. Excited to have voted for my grant funded project, education, affordable healthcare, marriage equality, and women’s rights!
[Day 10, final day of the EveryLibrary + Librarian Wardrobe partnership! Thanks all for the photo submissions to help EveryLibrary.org receive funding from an anonymous donor toward a $500 goal! There were so many great photos, it was really hard to choose just one each day. Over the next few days, we will post submissions not depicting voting booths or completed ballots (this is a misdemeanor in some states), and then back to regular programming. Cheers!] View high resolution

Academic librarian, Special Collections & Digital LibraryPhiladelphia suburbs, PA, USA
I do a little bit of everything for Special Collections, plus overseeing our student workers who do our scanning, and managing/coordinating/wrangling several of our digital projects. I look slightly crazed because I had 4.5 meetings today.
