As you all already caught me at ALA Midwinter, and I’ve been meaning to submit for a while, I thought I’d finally organize and send in my most recognizable attribute: my shoes!
I am known for loving vintage style (fascinators have been known to appear on my head at the Reference Desk), but my shoes are my real weakness, or strength, depending on how you look at it. Here are an assortment of many of my winter favorites, Brady Brunch style. My current roster of shoes live under my desk at work, except those Batgirl sneakers, which are, of course, what I wear when I walk around Boston (unless it’s snowing, then I break out the winter boots.)

Academic Outreach Librarian for the Social Sciences, Academic Library, Waltham, Massachusetts (purple dress)
My fiance (who has worked as a library assistant while in school) and I took our engagement photos at the Boston Public Library. While we took our outfits up a notch for these pictures, it’s not much of a stretch from our average work-wear. (I have worn this dress to work many times and get lots of compliments.)
